KB Polk Elementary School Adoption

Every year we adopt 1 student from every class at KB Polk and give them a Christmas that every child deserves. However, this year we are adopting the entire school! Help us make these students' Christmas magical by bringing new, unwrapped toys for ages 5 ? 12. Our goal is to provide each student with a toy, totaling about 600 toys. We are also collecting coats, hats, gloves and socks (about 40 each) to be donated to the school so they can give out as needed. Thank you for your generosity!

The Zach Brents Band

Zach Brents, an up and coming singer/songwriter from south Texas, found his interest in music when he was about 6 years old. Music didn't seem to fully grasp his interest until a few years later when he found his voice in country music. When he started out in the music scene, he originally played rhythm guitar in his dad's band "Stevie B. and Coldshot" ( a band heavily influenced by blues, country , and classic rock). Once he honed his skills as a musician, (learning to play bass, and harmonica), he began working on his vocals. After practicing his vocals, his dad turned the band over to him, and hence became "The Zach Brents Band." Now out of college, Zach is hoping to further his music career, currently working on his first untitled album, in which he hopes to have out in the near future!
