Sewell’s legacy of service dates back to 1911. And while we proudly honor our past, we also continue to forge our future. In the same spirit, Kindred Motorworks honors automotive history by breathing new life into classic vehicles. Together, Sewell and Kindred Motorworks are redefining the vintage car ownership experience.
From the very beginning, the team at Kindred Motorworks had a vision – combine the timeless design and character of classic vehicles with today’s safety, reliability, and performance.
After years of research and development, Kindred has created a seamless blend between modern vehicle efficiency and the understated simplicity of classic cars, elevating nostalgia and timeless design through meticulous restoration and modernization. Visit the Kindred Motorworks website to learn more about their world-class innovation and processes.
Kindred prides themselves on doing things differently – and doing them the right way. When you purchase a Kindred, you receive a vehicle that is both modern and true to its original design. Every Kindred vehicle is built on a first-generation frame with its original VIN number but features a modern interior with a high-tech digital gauge cluster.
The team of engineering, design, and technical experts at Kindred curate and hand-select every nut, bolt, mechanical, and electrical component for their vehicles. This talent-stacked group spent tens of thousands of hours running simulations and tests on each Kindred vehicle part to ensure premium performance and reliability for years to come.
To streamline the modernization of vintage cars, the Kindred facility brings together all aspects of auto restoration under one roof. Paint, bodywork, upholstery, machining, and design all have their own individual shops with technology and industrial engineering tying them all together.
Kindred recognizes that restoring vintage vehicles is a passion shared with many of their customers. This is why each pre-order customer is invited to visit the Kindred production facility, located on Mare Island in Vallejo, California, to meet the team, tour the facility and, most importantly, work on their Kindred vehicle.
