For over 40 years, we have celebrated Sewell associates who go the “Extra Mile.” These associates continually demonstrate the genuine care, work ethic, integrity, and dedication that serve as the cultural cornerstones of each one of our dealerships. John Sewell helped establish the philosophy surrounding this award, and it is always exciting to honor his vision.

In September of 2015, Sewell lost a longtime friend and associate – Joe Diggs. His 37 year career with Sewell was an inspiration to all of us. In many ways, his name was always synonymous with going the “Extra Mile.” Because of what Joe meant to Sewell, the Extra Mile Award is named in his honor. Those associates who go above and beyond to make Sewell special will be honored with the Joe Diggs Extra Mile Award. We are proud to name this award after a truly great man.
